Namaste Yogis, Yoginis, and fellow online Friends 

My name is Jamie Wood. I have spent the past 8 years traveling the world and practicing yoga.  I have seen some incredibly amazing things, met many interesting people, and felt the connection all beings have to one-another on this earth.

I am a vegetarian, a business owner, a wife, a Yoga Instructor, a writer, and see nothing wrong with talking to bugs or plants!

I currently spend half of my time in Vancouver, BC, downtown in the middle of it all.  Although it is a busy city, there is a wonderful community of extremely talented yoga teachers and eager students here, with no shortage of events and workshops to ground oneself.  The other half of the time I spend in Costa Rica on a beach looking out at the Pacific Ocean.  This is where I provide people an opportunity to PUSH PAUSE on their lives, and come down and join me on one of my retreats.  I really love being in places where Mother Nature is in charge, and this is definitely one of them.

Now for the exciting part, I have been bestowed with the task of connecting a voice between this amazing Yoganomics community and the world outside. I will be hitting the streets and studios talking to instructors from all over the globe getting answers to YOUR questions.  That is right, I want to hear from you.  This is a Call-to-Response.  What do you want to know about Yoga.  Whether it be about a pose, teacher’s tips, clothing, studio etiquette, how to deepen your personal practice, the cost of things, what Yoga really is, and so on, let’s hear it!

I want to start opening up a line of communication that reflects real people, real situations and real teachers.

You will be hearing from me bi-monthly in the new “Yoga Feedback” column, with the first article coming out on October 15th.  So let’s get going.  I’m excited to hear from all of you!
